Janeth Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Film from the University of Dodoma (UDOM) and first joined Tanzania People & Wildlife in 2020 as a media intern. Her role and responsibilities have since grown to serve as the organization’s Conservation Programs and Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Adaptation (MELA) Assistant.
In this role, Janeth manages multiple datasets related to human-wildlife conflict, rangelands, and Community Game Scouts and assists in the development of new tools for program evaluation. She also maintains camera traps and associated data while supporting communications and conservation programs like the Women’s Beekeeping Initiative and Girls Clubs.
