African People & Wildlife 2025 Annual Report
Built for This
Coexistence demanded a different response in every landscape in 2025.
African People & Wildlife worked with stakeholders across 85 partner communities to reduce human-wildlife conflict, manage and restore grasslands, strengthen nature-based enterprises, and prepare local leaders for the future. Trained local response, practical field tools, applied science, and long-term partnerships allowed each effort to adapt to the species, conditions, and priorities of each landscape.
Built for This follows that work from farms facing elephant conflict and pastoral lands shared with carnivores to women-led enterprises, wildlife monitoring routes, restored grasslands, and the living classrooms of the Noloholo Environmental Center.
