Today, Africa’s magnificent people, wildlife, and landscapes face enormous threats: climate change poses an unparalleled danger to all life on Earth, the threat of future pandemics looms with mankind’s increasing destruction of the natural world, and the future of biodiversity is at risk. The time for urgent conservation action is now.

In our new 2030 Strategic Plan, African People & Wildlife shares our bold vision for the next decade. Together with communities and other partners, we will help tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges by driving effective, measurable, and lasting outcomes for people and the planet – both in Tanzania and beyond.
